Q: Do Angels Have Emotions?

Yes they do, in fact we can say that an angel is the embodiment of a single emotion. This is not to say angels are not sentient, highly intelligent beings, but they are dedicated to a single emotion. If we doubt for even a moment how incredibly gifted angels are, entire dimensions of reality are comprised of condensed angel thought. Angels are ministers, given their marching orders by arch angels, and dedicated to the service of all that has been placed in their care. Angels, an incredibly high order of life, are kind and caring; they are dedicated and never judgmental. They are the perfect companions and guardians of mankind who have indeed been place in their keeping.

Q: Can we think something in to existence?

Absolutely we can think things in to existence, for thought are things. They are the nucleus of all things material, which derive their spiritual energy from thought forms. However, thoughts do not become material by their own accord for they need a medium through which to materialize. Here we are; the medium, the means for mental reality to become physical. When we act on thought forms we build materiality around them, subsequently, the thought absorbs the matter and a matter absorbed thought form exists. We prefer to think that thoughts reside within matter but this presumes matter can exist independent of the thought form. This simply is not so, and in the end we bring in to existence matter permeated thought forms.

Where in a body does the soul reside?

It is easier to understand we are souls with bodies and not the reverse. Matter is gradually absorbed by what we call our soul. Thus we can say, the soul is everywhere in a living body. When the experience is finished, the soul releases the matter to be returned to the elements of the earth from which it was formed. How does creation play in to evolution?

Both are real sciences but evolution is the perfecting of mater. Physical reality is not created imperfect but within it is planted the seeds of perfection. Material creation is meant to evolve or perfect so that which was created can experience the process of perfection. If matter was created in its ultimate perfection, ourselves included, we would never know what it is like to become perfect. In the absence of such an experience, matter would simply not know itself to be perfect but just to be. The process is essential to understanding where we have been as compared to where we are. All matter has consciousness and evolution makes possible the awareness of perfection. A light does not know itself to be a light unless it is first conscious of the darkness it illuminates.

The I Ching is the ancient art of inquiry through the tossing of coins. It can be traced back to its Asian roots and it is akin inquiring of an Oracle. Here questions are posed, coins are tossed and the combination of sides (heads or tails) point to an answer. The I Ching has been recommended by many spiritualists and there are many good books on the subject. A reference book is essential to read and understand and chart the combinations of sides called hexograms. The I Ching Workbook by R.L. Wing is an excellent resource.

Is the Course Is Miracles helpful?

That depends on two factors, motive and application. If the motive and application are good, the Course is good, if not, it is not. Value is purely personal. When our motives are to make the world a better place, to add to the lives of those around us, to be a better spouse, a better parent, a better child, a better friend, a better associate we have made an incredible beginning. Motive is half the accomplishment in life. However, the attention we give to becoming these things must be consistent in expressing our motivation. Whether it is the Course In Miracles, Scientology, Christianity or what not, if our motives and application are both good and consistent, the result will surely be helpful.

Is time and space absolute?

In materiality, time and space are certainly absolute. They are the condensation of cause and effect which are expressed as sequence and distance. Certainly there are variances in density as we travel through this vast universe, which results in variances in time and space, but these two pillars of materiality are ever present. As our own galaxy, even our own solar system condensed in reality, time and space became more fixed until it is what we have at hand. However, we are still evolving and matter will not forever be what it is today.

What is the difference between prophecy and psychic?

Prophecy or the ability to predict the future while psychic is a soul sense. Our minds are bound up it time and space, and bound to its limits. In fact, our rational minds are the products of time and space, and are unable to conceive of that which is not. Clairvoyance, clairaudience, precognition, and retrocognition are all psychic phenomena and prophecy is often synonymous with precognition. How does a seer bridge the gap between material and soul qualities? By setting aside those things that separate the mental from spiritual or soul cognition. There are many exercises that promote such abilities. There are numerous excellent books on the subject from ARE Press. They are available online at www.edgarcayce.org.

Is there life elsewhere in the universe?

It defies logic to conclude there is not. There are approximately 100,000 million million stars in the Milky Way. Further, it is estimated there are 70,000 million million million stars in the universe, that is a 7 followed by 22 zeros. Although that is just an educated guess, suffice to say there are lots of stars in the universe. It seems almost impossible that life formed only on one planet of a single star and not anywhere else. If the universe is the evolution of intelligent design, even if it is just a happenstance, it seems highly unlikely that such an incomprehensibly large creation was set in place to be home to a single race on a single planet. Considering the distance between stars and planets it can also be surmised that extra terrestrial contact is not a simple task. What separates us is distance, and what makes the distance a difficult traverse is the limits of speed. We cannot reach other star systems unless we can travel considerably faster than the speed of light. However, our inability to travel faster is not a matter of propulsion so much the limits presented by the laws of physics. We cannot travel faster than the speed of light because density increases with speed. At light speed an object would become too dense to move. So until and unless we can deal with the laws of physics to overcome what has been called the theory of relativity, we will be unable to travel out of our own solar system, beyond the reaches of our own sun. This does not mean others have not successfully dealt with this, or that we will not eventually overcome the laws of physics that hold us bound to our solar system. Denying there is extraterrestrial life simply because we cannot see it is incredibly self centered and the poorest excuse for denying it exists. For those among us that rely on logic, it is illogical for us to assume life does not exist in many places in our ever expanding universe.

Do pet animals have souls?

Yes, they certainly do, and unlike vegetables and minerals that have collective oversouls, animal souls are individual beings. The animal kingdom stands directly behind us in achieving self awareness, however,their souls have not yet been completely permiated in matter like our own. In the far distant future animals will achieve sentience and we will assist them in this chapter of their history as the angels of God have assisted us.
